Anti-spin for your Winchcam underwater camera

Your camera, still in the water. An underwater camera hangs from its own cable and turns with every movement of the boat or the water. The anti-spin clips around the camera and keeps it still, at the angle you choose.

One clip decides where it looks

The cable loops to a clip on the curved arm; that clip becomes the pivot and the centre of gravity hangs straight below it. The fins then keep it still, even when the boat or the current pulls.

Fits your camera

Each anti-spin is designed for one camera model, measured to a tenth of a millimetre. Choose your model on Etsy.

FAQ

Why does an underwater camera spin?

The camera hangs from its own cable. That cable twists with every movement of the boat or the water, and the camera turns with it. The fins of the anti-spin work like a weather vane and keep it still.

How do I get the anti-spin off again?

Bend the four clip fingers slightly outwards and slide the camera out.

Can it handle water and sun?

Yes, everything is water and UV resistant and can stay outdoors all season.
